p.s. Animal Clinic has been my vet for 30 years.
It has always been so. When an animal is reliquished at BMHS there isn't even a 3 day hold if it is a surrender-the animal may be euthed immediately. Strays, only, have the "3 day rule". If you have been to the shelter lately, they have no more room…

- Oh, great! And thanks so much. I've not seen my mom that wound in years, when we took him to you. I felt he had great potential for just the right home. I do wish he had worked for us, as he wanted to be a good family member, he just had way different rules and was persistent in insisting on them. Beau lost two teeth to him.
