Audrey Ulrich, President of Tri City Dog Park Society has Passed Away

I was just informed of some very sad news by Tri Cities dog trainer, Al White (who participated in our dog park grand opening) that Audrey Ulrich, President of the Tri Cities Dog Park Society passed away in a car accident on Oct 25th.

He is hoping some of our dog park supporters would be willing to reach out to the Ulrich's with support. They would like to hold a fundraiser to benefit the dog park so her dream can live on, but first and foremost they'd like to get financial and other help to her immediate family. You can find more information on their dog park website:

Audrey was a great supporter of our WW dog park. She participated in our grand opening and prior to that, communicated with me on ideas and events, shared stories and news, and ultimately was a part of our Walla Walla dog park family. She brought her son, who passed away, to our opening day to celebrate our good fortue with us. I am DEEPLY saddened by this news and wish that everyone could understand her passion and kindness towards the unwanted or cherished animals in the world. Her goal for a dog park was and is still very strong in her community. I wrote the city about her efforts and encouraged them to approve the Badger Mountain dog park based on our successes in Walla Walla. Audrey took our suggestions and ideas for fundraisers and ran with them. She put her heart and soul into these projects and her husband supported her so much! PLEASE! Do what you can by donating to the TriCities Dog Park Society in her honor. It is a 501(c) organization. She was our supporter and passed on all the good news about us to her contacts.

For us, this is tragic as our beloved Bodhi passed away September 25th after a truly courageous battle with a tumor and our Honey boxer has just been diagnosed with another ailment that could be life threatening.
