Thanks so much Courtni! That helped. I did end up giving Rosco his bath on my own and hubby gave Thule her bath the next day so we're good for now...but once baby is here I'll probably be dropping them off at PetCo!

Anyone want a cocker spaniel pup?
A friend of mine is trying to help find a home for a cocker spaniel female...blond, about 2-3 months old. She seems sweet and likes to cuddle. Prefers people to dogs (at least MY dogs).

Do you have to make an appt far in advance? Do you have to leave your dog there all day? How does it work ... I need to plan ahead for this week, I think. I just always do my own doggy baths and trims and have only been to one groomer...a few year...

Adina, We had our lab mix in to get her nails done and a bath. No hair trimming. Our experience was very positive, they were quick and the rate was reasonable. I can not speak for their trimming skills though.

I've never had any problems with Petco's grooming. Sometimes they don't cut Holly's ears as short as I like them, but they do adhere to breed standard. In fact, Joy at Petco is one of the very few groomers that has figured out how to handle Holly'...
